Jean has revealed that the melody riff was inspired by the Wu-Tang Clan song "Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing ta F' Wit". Marc Anthony sang on a version of the song. At the 2000 Grammy Awards, the song won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.
