Brooklyn Nine-Nine is an American comedy series which premiered on September 17, 2013, on Fox. The series, created by Dan Goor and Michael Schur, follows a team of detectives and a newly appointed captain in the 99th Precinct of the New York City Police Department in Brooklyn.
On May 12, 2017, the series was renewed for a fifth season, which premiered on September 26, 2017. On May 10, 2018, Fox canceled the series after five seasons. The following day, NBC picked up the series for a sixth season of 13 episodes. On September 7, NBC expanded its order to 18 episodes for the sixth season, which is set to premiere at midseason.
As of May 20, 2018, 112 episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine have aired, concluding the fifth season.
